So, this morning further technical discussions and picture session with @NoAge Hunter in Bosnia, camping BUK in the village of Kulen Vakuf.

I stayed one day more, and made two hikes, a longer one to the castle on top of the village and a shorter one on the other side where there is also a small remain of a castle or village.
It is a very nice place besides a river, friendly people in the camping. After my first walk the owner offered me two "rakis" and we had a difficult conversation in very poor German (both of us) about politics, religion, war, children and his back pain
With the two "aspirins" (that's how he called the two shots), I felt strong enough to do my second walk

Took some photos for Alan over at Diabolical of their Mid-Deck working in conjunction with the OEM cargo fence. Had to change some hardware (and get ride of the OEM wing but made out of pot metal), but fits really well and I think looks pretty good too!

We stayed at exactly the same campsite last year. But otherwise we just spent the night at marvellous free spots in Bosnia.

@noagehunter: Nice to have seen you again at the Grendier Summit.

Added the armrest and cupholder setup from Diabolical. Nice piece of kit. Had to enlarge one of the bolt holes where it bolts under the seat. Added a little amazon molle basket as well.

Letech ladder and GP Factor table came in today. I didn’t waste time slapping them on. Other than deciding to do it in the 106 degree heat of the day it was mostly easy stuff. The only caveat to note are the two recessed bolts on the top of the ladder. You will need to use the simple Allen key with a ball end. One side went in ok. The other took some time consuming finesse. The trick is to snug down the 4 bottom bolts, easy to access and back off one turn to have the right amount of tension to hold yet move the ladder minuscule amounts to line the holes up. You can see the threaded holes until you slide the bolts in and then you are blind plus the maybe 20 degree angle. Once started you resort to Pakistani wrenching it, no ratcheti, with limited area.

Both are very well built. We’ve been used to Chinese crap we’ve forgotten what well built meant anymore. And Chinese stuff has gotten better. The ladder was too expensive. Just to have it carry a can. Came direct from Germany. Very light, it’s top notch built. Of course shipping and duty really took a chunk.

GP Factor table, not as light. I wasn’t aware it didn’t come with the light. No biggie. The bamboo slide is really on there but I’m sure it’ll loosen with time. It locks up very well.

Next in my list is Starlink mount. RTT mount, Agile sliders, bulk bar, GP Factor winch, lift and 255/85-17’s. Few things here and there but that’s the gist. Oh, and the hitch. Mine didn’t come with one.

Spoke on the phone with service agent about front prop shaft replacement and various warning lights going off .. hopefully, and it does look like they are more interested than the previous dealer in the vehicle and customers - its all a bit tin pot in SE England at the moment

The wood swells and contracts with the weather so it'll change with the seasons. It's a great product.

Tried 3 times to get an appointment with the Ineos dealer in Zagreb, Croatia, because I need an oil change. Three times a different person. They would call me back, but ... nopes.
The first operator: "what brand and model?". Me: "Ineos Grenadier". She: "never heard of that ". Me: "a big four by four". She: "a Ford?"

In the morning I did some off road tracks in Croatia, and I have some new scratches. Some months ago I read that somebody lost the entrance grid of the Raised Air Intake (RAI), Therefore, as a precaution I made two smal holes and did put a Colson cable tie, and it proved it was needed: after my off road, I checked the car and saw this:

Explored Frank Raines OHV area (yesterday). Such a fun area with lots of hill climbs of various difficulty and some really fun obstacles to mess around on. Added quite a bit of new pinstriping to the truck too.
