I'm in the same boat as you, no Facebook, twitter or whatever is the latest thing, just this. A phone is for ringing people not texting, i make so many mistakes typing on phone, having to delete and correct. I am very thankful for the people that put their time into creating this website and have absolutely no idea how they did it, but well done & thank you.I have heard that many times, but it may hold true for me, the “welcome to the internet” part. I stated before somewhere on this forum, but I am not an internet/tech guy. This is the very 1st forum I have ever joined and especially communicated on. So I am learning. In person debating/arguing I can definitely hold my own, but on here I do feel like a kid learning to ride his bike. I’ll ease into it. I am just myself, no fake news with me. I do have to say for the most part everyone has their own opinions but are usually very welcoming. The only thing I don’t really get are the non-Grenadier owners who come on and are always bashing or negative towards the vehicle. Boggles my mind why even be here & can’t you see how many people own and love them? Look at all the up start vendors/businesses created just for the Grenadier. Also all the local town/country/city/ whatever you call your area in what country you live, get togethers with lots of people and Grenadiers!! They usually post pics on here and usually it’s more than I would have thought attending. Does the forum members have shirts saying “Grenadier lifer” if so I need several in different colors…….![]()
Thank you!! I thought I was the only one. The texting part is sooooooo true. I had to learn and adapt to that as my kids are now grown and it seems sometimes that’s the only way to communicate with them. We still have our weekly lunches (so grateful they want to see me weekly still,I'm in the same boat as you, no Facebook, twitter or whatever is the latest thing, just this. Learning emoji's so not always sure I've got it right, just know not to use an aubergine or is it egg plant in USA?
Multiple layers of liquid electrical tape. Seems to work well. What do you have on the body contact side of the supports to prevent scratches?
Went to the most westerly point of the UK
Nice. Did you visit the distillery? I’ve been meaning to get there for ten years! No. I should have said mainland UK
Ardnamurchan peninsula.
Thank you for that info. I have one more question, you may not know but I will try...lol.. Is this a "universal" charger in the sense that I could use it to charge a bluetti? I know you can chose the voltage to bring it down to match the various ecoflow units, but if you broght it down to the 500 watts (as an example) can the solar connector cable(dont remember the name of the connector) could that be used with bluetti?Went out for a 30 minute drive. Car battery charged from 73% SOC to 80% and power station charged from 60% to 80% is a result. So far so good. It is a smart alternator. I think the key is to connect the negative lead to existing earthing point and not directly to the negative terminal which has a battery monitoring system attached.
Nice! Did you wire the lights to one of the auxiliary switches, or are they connected per the factory lights?
The BLUETTI charger 1 can be used on most BLUETTI and other products too which uses a MC4 solar charging cable. The voltage input depends on the power station. It’s normally stated on the front solar port (12-28v). The manual states that it needs ventilation and recommends it’s at least 20cm away from anything. It does get hot depending on load or volts going through. There is a fan inside to keep it cool. It’s not loud, often drowned out by the engine anyway. It’s a smart charger so it was designed not to flatten the battery.Thank you for that info. I have one more question, you may not know but I will try...lol.. Also I did some google and found that the alternator is 250 amps, so this should be really good for this style charger as they say the charger shoulnt be more then a 1/3 of what your alternator can do. Does the unit get hot while charging? is it ok to keep under back seat or would it be better mounted to say one of the Bison molle racks that fit in the back where it would be open for cooling?
Thanks again, still deciding on which ecosystem I want to bite the bullet and invest in.
Went to Kentra Bay, and collected cockles and mussels for dinner. Delicious! View attachment 7874625
Well it ain't Ineos wiringI found this wire sitting under the right side of the rear seat where the subwoofer is located, can you tell me what it is?
Thank you.
