What are your favorite “convenience” accessories? Phone mounts, small shelves etc…

Hi,
I recommend the Agile phone mount.
The fast phone charger stand is made in Korea.
It is easy to work with and not bulky.
My wife loves it.

And the Grenadier has the perfect spot for HUD, right in front of the steering wheel.
The moment you get in the car, Android Auto, the HUD, and the navigation app are automatically connected.

What do you use to project the HUD?

What do you use to project the HUD?
The HUD projects onto the windshield.
It's just plain glass with nothing attached to it.
The HUD connects wirelessly to Android Auto, so I just get in the car with my phone
and the HUD and IG's Android Auto connect automatically.
The IG has a nice spot to put the HUD. No attachment required, just place it on.

This looks great. Only available in Korea?
You a link to it in Korea? I can ask my brother to order it online for me, he speaks Korean.

It is sold at an online shopping mall called “Coupang” in Korea.
However, you should ask your brother to ask the seller whether this HUD product supports “English,”
whether it supports maps of the country you live in,
and whether it supports Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

Get the Owl insulated sunshades if you have the Safari Windows. You don't even need to attach the additional magnets since the fit is so perfect I just use the magnets already in the shades themselves to keep them attached. Tested at 75mph+ with windows down and they hold. When you don't want them on, just pull them off.

They also have a few quality of life upgrades like the metal "OS" handles that are stupid easy to install.

I'm still on the hunt for a phone mount that doesn't block a vent and also doesn't have visible wires hanging from everywhere
Still happy with the sunshades?

Forgive me, but I don’t really understand what this is? I know a lot of people accidentally hit this button and have diy methods of avoiding it. Is that what this is for?
I suspect to keep the stop/start function off.

Yes, so you don’t have to push this button every time you turn on your vehicle. I live in Florida, I can’t survive at a stoplight without A/C

Does the AC not stay on and then the engine restart if needed? I thought that's how all stop start systems worked?

I’ve been regularly turning off the auto start/stop so I don’t remember anymore but if it’s related to the batteries state of charge, the Grenadier does cut the AC and only blows the fan at whatever speed setting you have it on.

In other vehicles I’ve had, it was more temperature / battery based, so if either the temp. changed or the charge fell below a preset limit, the engine would restart. So if the HVAC is working hard in hot/cold climates, even with the auto start/stop set to “on”, the engine would never turn off.

That's how I thought they were supposed to work, as the Grenadier was my first car with it, and i always turn it off, I wasn't sure. Wife has it on her car but I never really take it for a long drive, and I also turn it off
