Rigid Scene Pods

Hey All,

I did some searching but didn't really find an answer to my question. I recently bought some Rigid Scene pods surface mount https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CHCRBST9?tag=globalgrena0b-20 and I am trying to find a way to mount them to the pools that are around the Grenadier. Any suggestions or ideas of a off the shelf type solution or minor custom method?? Really looking to something that mounts around the bars (not even sure the diameter of the bar). Thanks for the help ahead of time. Also I do not have a roof rack and currently not planning on one.

Here are some options I dug up but unsure of what size to get: Any suggestions or experience would be helpful here.

You might be able to go directly onto the bar brackets as per the examples in this thread.

I didn't think about trying that out at all.... Maybe something to look into then. I'll have to mock it up these lights are kinda large...

The bar diameter is 1" On the back of the bracket that holds the bar and bolts to the vehicle there is a small screw that tightens the bracket around the bar. My bars do not rotate. You will find you can remove the bar and brackets and the black filler panel behind the brackets by taking our the 2 bolts per bracket. Once the filler panel is out, you have direct access to the interior of the vehicle adjacent to the headliner. You can see in the picture of my lights (mounted to my roof rack) I drilled a hole in the panel and put a rubber grommet in place. Good luck.

Just to close this out I was able to use the bracket that came with the Rigid lights just needed to grind down about 3/16" of material for it to sit flush with the OEM bolt that holds the bar on just like mentioned above. The lights I bought have three wire but the roof ports only have two so I need to find a solution to that at some point so I can turn on the red lights while camping.

One thing I noticed was three of the top power points are all on one switch... Has anyone been able to separate that?

I'm a lifelong Jeep Wrangler owner who finally made the jump to INEOS, and I'm VERY pleased with my purchase. I was lucky to find a very lightly used fieldmaster with ALL the options I wanted at a great price. I have been blow away by the quality of this car. The pre-wiring for all the auxiliary power connectors is a really nice touch: it makes it super easy to plug in accessory lighting with pre-wired relays and switches.

I did find that the Donny Grey color is like a black hole: it seems to suck all the light out of the universe, which makes it pretty challenging to back up! My...

They utilitarian, nothing fancy. But printed in PETG, the mounts should last a very long time.

As for the wiring, I wired all 4 of the "scene lights" to the same switch, and the rear LED to the 4th socket that's probably meant for a front facing LED bar, which I don't plan on installing. there's a little excess wire run this way, but it works great.
