VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)

My VIN ends in 7719, made in October 2023, but I do not know when in October.

It may or may not be on a ship to Australia. There is an information black hole after it is made, until INEOS confirms to the dealer it is on a ship. INEOS knows, the dealer does not.

We call them dealers but INEOS calls them Agents, and Agents do not get much more information than owners.
My vin is 7601 and was last heard of in the compound at Hambach with "transport approved" so I expect yours was along side it. That was over 2 weeks ago. As you say could be anywhere now, or still in the compound. They haven't asked for final payment so delivery isn't imminent.

This is an old thread, but, I want to complement something. When we discussed this topic, there were no Quartermaster yet. Position 5 and 6 were always M1 or N2.

I saw this picture on the forum today: https://www.theineosforum.com/media/img_6727-jpeg.51079/
A quartermaster with the VIN number SC6GN3DB6RF015109.
Position 5 and 6, that represent the model, show in this case N3.
N is clearly for Utility, and the 3 is most probably Quartermaster.
Perhaps other Quartermaster owners can confirm.

Lets make an adapted explanation of the Ineos Automotive VIN number, based on all the posts above.

Position 1 to 3 : SC6= code of manufacturer
Position 4 : model (G being Grenadier, no other models until now, the QuarterMaster is also G)
Position 5 : M for passenger car, N for commercial / utility vehicle
Position 6 : 1 for car, 2 for utility, 3 for QuarterMaster
Position 7 : A for Petrol and D for diesel
Position 8 : A for Left Hand Drive, B Right Hand Drive (UK, Australia, etc.)
Position 9 : Control digit through a formula (from 0 to 9 and 10 being replaced by the latin X)
Position 10 : Manufacturing Year, P for 2023, R for 2024, S for 2025, and 2026 will be T.
Position 11 : Plant, until now F (France?), although there were prototypes with letter A (Austria?).
Position 12-17 : Sequential number like 123456
