Unable to Find a Local Service Centre

Hi everyone,

I hope someone is able to help me.

As we all know Service Centres have been closing and my local one in Gloucestershire closed in January. My nearest Ineos Approved Service Centre is over 100 miles away so obviously I can't take it there.

Today I took it to a local garage who claimed to be able to service Ineos but then said they didn't have the diagnostic kit to plug in to check stuff and importantly clear the overdue service warning.

I've driven to a couple more local garages today (including a Kwick Fit) who have all said they don't have the diagnostic kit to help either. The one I saw the engineer trying today was a 'Snap On'.

Does anyone know of any garage chains, or failing that any private garages in Gloucestershire that will be able to service my vehicle with the right diagnostic kit? Failing that does anyone know of any diagnostic brands that will work?

Hoping someone can help otherwise my dashboard is going to start lighting up like a Christmas Tree!

As of this minute only an Ineos Automotive service centre can clear the service warnings.

If you search the forum, you will see we are awaiting an update from Lynn Calder about what the UK service network will look like around the middle of this month. One of the services being proposed is collection and return, which would deal with a number of issues. https://www.theineosforum.com/threads/letter-to-lynne-calder.12418312/page-8, #143

From Gloucestershire, you probably should be looking at Oxford or Northampton.

Actually Grange in Solihull is quite a lot closer than Northampton.

I'm getting mine done at a Bosch service centre in Uttoxeter, hopefully IA can get a few more Bosch service centres involved.

Here in the US a 5-7 hour drive to the nearest centre isn't a crazy thing... 100 miles seems like an absolute gem!

Ask them how far to their nearest Ferrari dealer?
The collect and return thing is not uncommon for more exotic cars.

It's about 60 miles from Gloucester, close to others such as Maserati, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston, Morgan etc.
