my gren (gas-v6) has lost 10-20% of its power on acceleration and making a bit of an aircraft noise. Also when I turn ignition off it’s gurgling like there is fluid somewhere it shouldn’t be. Gurgling runs for ~10 seconds. Any ideas for me? Yes we have been in sand, snow and a bit of water this week off-roading.

Kinda sounds like the charge tube popped off, check by wiggling the big tubes see if you can see any separation around the connection points.

If by "aircraft noise" you mean something like prop noise, check for something hitting the radiator fan. The gurgling is likely the result of low coolant in the hot radiator side - that could be air bubbles running through the cabin heat exchanger. Prop the hood up in the service position and look in the hot radiator fill/expansion tank (right side of vehicle). It should be near the top of the fill level. I'm not sure what's causing the loss of power . . . perhaps overheating due to a lack of coolant is causing the ECU to pull timing or fuel to limit damage from excess heat? Finally, your "gas-v6" is a straight 6 :)

If adding coolant (presuming it's low) doesn't immediately fix the "aircraft noise", I'd stop operating the vehicle until you can get a non-internet, professional, in-person diagnosis.

This seems even more likely than my speculation. Maybe he meant something like the sound of a turbine in an APU or a jet engine.

If the car stood quite a while when it was cold, It is possible that a small waterdrop between a rotor blade and the housing iced. At the next start it bend a blade, creating the noise.
