Tire only swap / TPMS question

I assume this is just a “of course it’ll work and this is kind of a dumb question” but I can’t figure out the answer and this is still all new to me.

I am having my tires swapped from the stock KO2 to 33” KO3s this weekend (at discount tire - moving my KO2s to my kid’s Tacoma which is how I got my wife on board with new tires 🙄).

I keep reading about what a pain the TPMS sensors are when changing wheels or rotating tires.

My question is - since this is just a tire swap and I’m keeping the rest of the wheel the same, do I need to have the shop do anything or make them aware of anything (other than keep the same wheels in the same spot on the truck)?

I assume if they do that the TPMS sensors will just work, but I am nervous about it.

Thanks!

This will sound pedantic but in the past I’ve used an electronic Dymo label maker with clear label tape to make small discreet stickers to put near the tire valve (usually on the side of a wheel spoke or just inside the wheel barrel just behind the valve) indicating (LF, RF, LR, RR) to keep track. If the tire shop mixes things up accidentally you can easily put things back. It also helps me keep track of the wheel location starting positions so I can perform my own tire rotations.

Brilliant!
