Hello,

I came across the SPP Gorilla beam and really liked the look, and was slightly less expensive than the Black Sheep. I do not have a roof rack and do not have plans to purchase one, so the gutter mount fits my need.

I dropped a couple notes to SPP to see if there was a distributor that fulfills to the US, but did not hear back. I ended up placing an order with Grenadier.parts online, but am not overly confident at the moment as it appears to be a Shopify/dropship company. I did pay via Amex, so if it is problematic I have some recourse.

Anybody have a US source for SPP if this does not go through ? Or has anyone put one on their Grenadier ?

Thanks !

I purchased a full set of GorillaMounts, the molle plates, back in February and had to reverse the charges on my Amex. They stopped communicating.

I almost pulled the trigger on the SPP Gorillabeam. Would you say that it's a "do not purchase"? Thank you.

So I ended up placing an order from Lars at Grenadier.parts in Germany, who is a distributor for SPP products and will ship to US. I ordered about a month ago, and it has not been shipped to me yet. Lars has been very responsive, and was waiting for SPP to deliver a pallet of stuff to him. He has mentioned he is expecting my light bar late last week/early this week.

I am going to hold on a few more weeks, but have no reason to doubt him at this point. He has been very forthcoming and everything appears to be legitimate although a bit slow.

He has shared that he has one himself, and apparently it generates little wind noise, installs quickly, and comes with a Deutch plug that connects directly to the aux plugs on the roof (with the high load panel). It is listed as a Strands Siberia light, but not sure which one.

Tagging @Grenadier.Parts should he want to provide his feedback on his and the ones he has sold to his customers.
