How is Ineos approaching improving the overall access to software updates for dealers and owner user experience?

Some thoughts;

1. Local dealer told me I’m due 2 updates but Ineos are slow and yet to release the software to enable an update (along with other feedback re their experience dealing with Ineos

2. Fuel: remaining range accuracy should be accurate. When a tank is filled, it simply states >550km or thereabouts. Surely a simply equation from of driver average consumption/tank capacity is all that’s needed rather than a ‘greater than’ range? Perhaps stating tank capacity in litres/gallons would be a useful metric that owners could choose to display alongside all the other metrics.

3. AdBlue: an option to add this to fuel capacity/usage would be useful given this is an essential part of the fuel system; if not adding to the display then a notification of consumption would be useful rather than guessing or following multiple steps to find the information.

4. Configuring info areas: within settings, there’s are Info areas 1,3 and 4. Where is info area 2? When options are shown to change data to drivers preference, outside temperature doesn’t appear yet appears on screen.

5. For standard driving/vehicle data, the user needs to access via Off-road option, even when not off road

There’s probably more but overall, the UX could be improved.

Thanks for reading.

Cheers,
Ross

It is already there buried in the Menu. I cannot recall where at the moment. You are right it is fairly useless buried away.

I had problems with this metric and Dave B put me onto the push button on the stalk end …
When pressed it alters the remaining range to show various options which includes adblue.
Only issue is it seems to reduce in range by 500kms steps. Still very useful though!
Thanks Dave 😁👍🏼

Have link to that advice? It sounds useful.

I really need to find more out about that stalk.

Thanks, appreciate it.

Still, user experience with software is paramount these days. Many before me have put up with what was called ‘idiosyncrasies’ over on FB but to me, it’s poor design which is what UX is all about. Pure and simple.
