I am considering getting rid of my Grenadier and getting the Quartermaster, next year. One thing that is a WANT that is high on list is a rear cover. I see Ineos has teamed with someone in Europe for a very boxy canvas rear cover but not sure of versatility. I have had a Softopper on my Tundra for many years and found it one of the best utility add-ons (besides my Decked Drawer System) that I put on it. I could carry my canoe with external rack mounted with it....I could snap and zip it up tight and keep 99.9% of weather out here in coastal SC during thunderstorms and hurricanes all Summer.....and drives to Kansas and Iowa bird hunting in December.
It was easily folded to load large items in rear...typically could fold down in about 30-60 seconds at most. I could roll up sides and rear and run it like a Safari top in Summer...and allow me to keep direct sun off dogs crate and have increased air flow during our hot and humid Summer months. I have slept under it hundreds of time in Summer/Fall with mosquito netting draped over rear opening or over entire thing (military netting) in warm months....or snapped shut with bedroll and sleeping bag down to 20*F... On drives to midwest to hunt, would pull over when needed and roll out bedroll next to dogs crate and we would sleep a few hours. With cover on dog crate in winter...she and my dog prior were both able to sleep comfortably in temps down to 19* as it kept wind off...and allowed their heat to build up in the crate with its insulated cover....so blowing snow, rain, sleet and the always present winds were kept at bay.
I drove it through auto car washes, highway speeds of 75mph with a 40mph head or crosswind in Kansas...and it never buckled or let me down.
I contacted them to see if any plans for the Quartermaster...and said, not unless they get a lot of inquiries from customers for it...and if I knew anyone interested to have them reach out to Softopper Customer Service direct as they will log the interest to drive whether it is developed or not.
I used this link for CONTACT and used the CHAT icon in lower right corner and then asked for an Agent...... or can call them direct as well. https://softopper.com/help/contact-us/

Appreciate if you would contact them if at all interested....thanks.

Here are some pics of mine in use with Tundra for examples:

A fellow Softopper owner here. It is hands down the most flexible bed cover solution - sturdy, weatherproof, and fast On/Off.
