Side runner tread delaminating

Has anyone noticed the tread on the top of their side runners starting to peel away? Just noticed it - my dealer said it would be covered under the 36 mo accessory warranty

The OEM steps and sliders are sourced in China. I am surprised they lasted this long. Rust is a problem as well. I needed my steps to ferry my IG home from Ron Tonkin in Portland and while waiting 8 weeks for a pair Buzz Overland 316 stainless step / sliders to arrive so I paid for them. I am glad the dealership is taking care of this for you as they have others I have seen with rust.
