Ok, so a little change from the usual way of things. This forum is for members to post questions to INEOS Automotive for answer by the relevant Dpt.

  • please select your geographical area as a prefix.
  • pose your question in a respectful manner.
  • the usual forum guidelines apply with regards to content and tone
  • feel free to post in your native language, but know that your question will be translated with deepl and may lose some clarity

This forum will be monitored and replied to on a rolling basis, (we're still fine tuning this part so please have patience with that) the intention is to have an ongoing constructive dialogue with the manufacturer. The first tranche of questions will be posed to Lynn Calder for a podcast that we are going to record Friday, July 25'th. For this opening round we are going to take the question from each geographical prefix with the most thumbs up as well as a few other things that we would like to discuss. This will be live until the point of recording so it could get interesting.

Stu.

Thanks Stu! Ed

Has Ineos Automotive responded to any questions or topics from this Ask Me Anything forum?
If so, which ones?
Some are addressed in the podcast with the suggestion of more to follow

Like most forum members, I am very appreciative of the interview and podcast. Sincere thanks to all participants. Certainly Lynn Calder brings the authority, but naturally she relies on her team for technical expertise.
Has the forum received any written responses from IA engineering or development staff?
Which topics? How do we know?

@Stu_Barnes @Krabby @Tom D are the ones who would have the answers on this

I did have some contact with the technical director, regarding what features I thought the code reader should have. I have not made a point of pestering him though as I feel like they went over and above in giving me access to these people. I didn't want to become a pain. I have had a few WhatsApp conversations with Lynn Calder but again I didn't want to pester her and spoil that relationship either. She's probably the only CEO in the industry who'd give her mobile number to a customer. Fair play to her!

Thank you very much. Fully agreed, less can be more. I support your no-pester policy and reasons for treading lightly. I know how cool this is, the forum / IA relationship. I had hoped to see more feedback or exchange at this point, but ... so it goes.

I know what you mean, I did ask Lynn for an update on the code reader a week or so ago. I haven't heard back yet.
