ineos have just come up with a reduction for the full roof rhinorack. Can you open the safari roof windows if the roofers is installed?
Thanks for any advice.
Jeremy

Recently installed Leitner's 3/4 roof rack along with Yakima NX XL cargo box. Does not interfere with safari window! Drove from No MI to FL Keys and very pleased with appearance as well as functionality. Very minimal wind noise which mostly occurs when coupled with high wind days. Ironically another IG pulled into neighboring villa in Key West as I have only seen 4 others in the wild during 2,600 miles of travel thus far.

@Jeremy Broadbent I don't think so, the roof bars come right over the safari windows. You may be able to crack them a bit, but I don't think you can open them up all the way (ie removing them maybe a challenge too ).

Having said that, I am going to try and get the rack and see if I can do something about it. At the price being offered it would be even worth taking a saw to it and make some space, move some slats etc.

Check the Overland Journal build for crossing Africa, I cannot recall exactly but I think Scott Brady ran a Frontrunner rack 3/4 but mentioned if you use the full rack you can leave the front bar out for safari window functionality. I have the Leitner load bars (not rack) but would go with their 3/4 option if I decided to go that route.
