Roof rack from Leitner Designs coming soon

Took half of a Saturday day for me to do it alone. The hardest part of installing it alone will be getting it onto the roof without scratching anything.

I used the copious amounts of packing plastic and cardboard to protect everything as I leveraged it up, using some saw horses to give me a “middle” spot from which to push it up and over. Having a helper would be best.

There is nothing about the install that is complicated, it’s a simple bolt-together design. You’ll want a torque wrench and torx sockets.
Too easy. Sounds like I'm paying a buddy some lunch in exchange for some quick labor as a second hand to get it on top of the vehicle in addition to some moving blankets probably. I'm definitely installing it by myself then if thats the case. The dealer made it sound like it had a massive amount of parts and is "super tedious." Seems more like they're just trying to milk me for cash, HA!

Tedious, kind of, but enjoyable. I left out all the cross rails, had my wife help me lift it up and then added all the rails after I got the frame where I wanted it. Well designed and well built, easy to follow instructions. If you have the time, definitely do it yourself.

Yeah, it’s super easy to install. I had one of my teenage daughters help lift it onto the roof.
I assembled the frame on the garage floor (nice flat surface). Make sure everything is square before putting on the roof.

Agreed did the same thing. I got mine into the roof solo even. I use moving/packing pads/blankets so as not to scratch the paint.
