the 300mm longer wheelbase is going to take a bit of the shudder out of it,Looking the way a Quartermaster should. Will be an absolute beast when out bush.
There's something about the QuarterMaster that just feels different than the station wagon. I owned my Base Wagon, triple locked, for 2 years, did 20,000 miles in all types of driving conditions and for me, I like the pickup version better.
Iam mounting my front runner tub platform on the 60mm rails that form the horozontal section of the sport bar using stedi bull bar clamps, it should get it right up high as i still have the spare mounted upright in the tub.Had to pack the Front Runner tub rack by about 50mm. The drawers would fit without doing this, but the flex in the load bars of the rack would lean on the top of the drawers.
Need to sort out water and we will be good for about a week, just with the ute and no towing, with the whole family (of 4).
