I put this on my old Toyota Hilux solid front axle double cab, surprisingly smooth and spontaneous.
Wondering if there's a equivalent aftermarket one designed for the IGs?

Mine sure didn't loosen up in 500-750 miles. I wanna say I had 2000miles or maybe more on mine before I switched to the FOX ATS. Mine is now almost "just like every other car"It's really not required. As noted, once you get to 500-750 miles, the damper loosens up and while not "just like every other car", it's a lot less to worry about.
Much ado about nothing.
Why, this is apparently a non issue.JMACX are also working on a damperer, different to existing third party products.
I guess they are catering for the people that are not using the offroad capability and want it to drive like an SUV.Why, this is apparently a non issue.Denial is an interesting beast.
It is actually a non issue. Why, this is apparently a non issue.Denial is an interesting beast.
Yep, that's my thought as well. I do believe some sticktion is reduced over time which helps some, but not a ton. Complacency and stubbornness can get the best of us.I don't think they loosen up at all. My truck has 14000m, My first loaner had 5000m, and my current loaner was brand new, 300m, and they all felt the same. You will acclimate to it and not notice it, though.
Wow, I didn't realize making the steering feel better hurt the off-road performance. I guess 30 years of running some of the hardest trails in the USA hasn't yielded me enough experience. I'll put in another 30 and get back to you on this.I guess they are catering for the people that are not using the offroad capability and want it to drive like an SUV.
