One of the great options that older US and Toyota 4WD vehicles had were side opening rear windows, manual or actuated, slider or outward opening. It would be great if this vehicle had that option to allow some proper airflow through the cabin. Has anyone heard if this is an option? If not it really needs to be. Thanks.

Here is a specialist:

Eventually they'll do a kit I´d say. Interested parties might want to send an email to them to speed things up, possibly..

Maybe the rear quarter vents achieve the effect you are looking for?

you could probably get them made locally and retro fit, they were quite common on old Landys in the UK .
