I have purchased a QM and now looking for bed cap solution/toppers. I don’t want a soft topper because I plan to have a RTT. The one issue I’m running into (other than lack of product) is the raised plastic trim on the bed rails that I imagine will make it hard to seal once a cap is placed on the bed. Any ideas on how to solve this? 3D printed plastic trim to make the bed rails flush?

I bet the e plastic cap will come off. The plastic came off for my canvas cover. It was replaced with a different system.

There is a hard topper already available in Europe. Plus another one is approved and will be available to purchase from Ineos.

Finally Dirtbox Overland, makes a cap for it but is aluminum

I think I'm following what your concern is and I'm wondering the same. I have the DirtBox topper on order and hoping within a few weeks it'll be installed. With the DirtBox cap there is a flange on the topper that sits over and down the outside of the bed rail thus covering the uneven elevation of the factory plastic bed cap.
When I get it installed I'll try to get some pictures to show how the cap is sealed.
