Newfound appreciation for IG’s terrible software

The other day I was outside my vehicle, doors closed, loading gear in a cart to go shoot clays, I locked or unlocked the IG and it bonged due to low fuel. Even with all the doors closed my buddy looked at me and asked what the hell that was... I just told him that Ineos takes low fuel very seriously.
You could have told your buddy it was the Texas Grenadier it was a low ammo warning, he would have said this is the coolest truck ever andbelieved you

The low fuel bong is just plain absurd. I was driving the little one to school one day, I had to take the garbage to the bin and unlocked the car for her. She proceeds to hop in, then I hear the BONG! Quickly followed by "OWWEE. My ears!" I could hear it through the closed doors and windows about 40 ft away, so I can only imagine how loud it was inside the truck.

BONG! CLICK, CLICK, CLICK! Only IG owners will get it.

It would not surprise me the least, if some hearing impaired person signed off on the chime. By the time they’ve realized, it was too late for rework..

I keep reading these threads waiting for some smart poster to give us the hack work around to disable the bong maker - clip the wire? Wrap it in duct tape? Surely with all these great minds we can kill this thing.

I actually like the bloody Bong. It always cracks me up and at times has brightened an otherwise cloudy day.

Another ridiculous example of Ineos’ lack of detail and/or poor software principles

Why would the Odometer in the left(7977mi) have a different rounding logic than then Total Distance Driven field in Vehicle Information (7978mi)?

I just filled the gas tank for the first time this week (new owner) and looking at the distance possible to see >360 KM ?? So you can't tell me the actual distance I can travel? Seems kind of stupid for an overland vehicle...

Maybe 1 is a real conversation form KM to miles and the displayed mileage uses KM to bananas and back to freedom miles!. 🤣🤣🤣

It does not matter, so no one looked before release. I have seem similar on an accounting ledger and it really does matter in that context!
