Hello from Golden, Colorado! We purchased a new 2025 Grenadier Trialmaster in Magic Mushroom from the dealer in Colorado Springs in late October. My wife and I have put 1,300 miles since then and added a number of mods:
- An extra set of 17" steel wheels with Bridgestone Blizzaks for the winter.
- Autel programmable TPMS modules for all 9 tires (4 OEM Goodyears + the spare, 4 Bridgestones).
- Ineos cargo barrier in the back; modified the upper attachment hardware to move the springs inboard.
- Owl Vans aluminum handles for the hood and 70% door releases.
- Agile Offroad: skid plates for the engine, transmission & rear control arms; shifter cable support bracket, auxiliary cooling support brackets.
- Fox steering damper.
- Grenadier USA: button pusher for Start/Stop button, oversized cupholder.
- Modified the driver's mirror so it can be adjusted outwards far enough (½ of my original view was of the side of the vehicle).
- Suma convex outside mirror glass.
- Custom graphics cut from 3M 680 Scotchlite red film added to the "Λ" on the hood and on the rear 30% door.
- Custom rubber mat for rear cargo area.
- Ineos rock sliders with Bison Gear steps
Future mods include installing a GP Factor bull bar (arriving today), adding a Wolfbox mirror plus a wireless link to a second camera mounted on our camp trailer, and installing a trailer brake controller.
This vehicle replaces our 1993 Toyota 4Runner 4WD (manual trans) with the 3.0 V6 and about 215,000 miles - owned since new. The 4Runner took everything it had to tow our 2,500 lb camp trailer through the Rockies, so the Grenny should be a big improvement in that department. We live in the foothills of the Rockies above 8,000' MSL, so even around home the extra power will be appreciated.
Surprisingly, I haven't encountered any problems with the vehicle so far., although I did perform a reset of the infotainment center once when the right side of the screen refused to display anything right after startup. The Fox damper is definitely an improvement in steering feel (installed at about 900 miles). I'll be performing an engine and diff fluid change in the near future.
I've only seen one other Grenadier in my area so far - a black Grenny SW in Golden and then again in Wheat Ridge.
I just requested access to the workshop manual via the form at ineosgrenadier.com/en/us/technical-publications-access . Hopefully this works . . . no reply yet.
Cheers!
Glen
