Spend some time adjusting the subwoofer and the EQ settings...You can get it sounding pretty good without spending lots of money...

It’s a pretty bizarre system, not in a good way. You can adjust the EQ, but sadly when the volume goes up, it changes itself to then sound a lot different, as if it’s also changing the EQ. You have to set the EQ for your typical listening volume, just know that when you crank it up, it will sound completely different and worse in my experience.
