Hi everyone, hope you all doing well. I'm new here and residing in Albury/Wodonga area (Australia). Currently waiting for my Trialmaster which was ordered at the start of December last year and slowly getting frustrated with no communication from Ineos. When I reach out in March, I was told that the vehicle is being scheduled to build, however I still did not sign contract and as I understand you have the last chance to change your preferences at time of signing. Is this normal experience or do I misunderstand the process? If my order was built it should be well on the way to Australia and did not officially commit to anything yet?
I also sent two requests via Ineos's website for test drive and never hear back and when I make a call to my local dealer, he informed me that they will no longer deal with Ineos.
So right now, I would like to know if this is the standart of service provided by Ines or something else is going on.
Is anyone here able to recommend dealer who is interested in doing business? Right now, I am considering my options and not sure if Ineos is the right choice even the actual product seems to be very good from what I'm hearing

The communication during build can be frustrating (I’ve had mine for 16 months and the website says it’s still “in production” - but at least in the US, you can walk away from your spec even if it’s been delivered to the dealer - with no fee (at least that’s the way it was a year ago, and I think was the reason dealers were stuck with inventory). They are also going through some dealer and agent turnover in a couple of markets, so your build has to get assigned to the next closest dealer. Find out who that is on the website and give them a call - they can answer your questions. Just a warning - they won’t have much information on anything happening in the factory - but they will get notified once there’s a VIN, when it ships etc.

When you placed your order you should have nominated your delivery dealer, which I assume was McRae Motors in Wodonga.
They are still listed as the service/delivery agents so I recommend you go in and talk to the manager.
If not then change to an alternate delivery dealer at Shepparton or in Melbourne.
You can go to the dealer and change your specification at any time prior to the vehicle going into production.
Before it goes into production you will receive an email from Ineos, with a contract to sign, and to pay the additional $4,500 deposit.
Your dealer should then be able to give you regular updates and even the name of the ship it is on, which you can then track online.
