Let’s talk Update 24.1

Had my software updated last week...first one did not work on the Over SPeed Warning...but a new release came 2-3 days later or that is when dealer got it relevant to my appointment...so took it back 3 days later and new update installed. I no longer have to select SPEED WARNING OFF every time....works as promised. Still have to do AUTO STOP but that is small beans. Only sw updates I think I want now are:
- stability for Android Auto so it does not fail connections sometimes
- accurize altimeter...has to be software glitch taking it from GPS and converting it to display on altimeter and offroad mode views
- ability to reset service light if changing fluids myself

What state and city do you reside in? Our dealership Sierra in Cali still doesn't have the software update.

I am in Charleston SC. Hendrick Ineos. I have not had to go to Favorites and select OFF for Speed Warning in over a week. I still have to let system boot up and connect to Android Auto...and then push AUTO START/STOP button .....but so much better than having to also go into menu for Speed Warning. Small victories.

Just had my 24.1 updated this week. Happy with the lack of over speed warning, or having to disable it.

The thing I noticed, but I’m not quite sure about? Is that the shift from drive to reverse takes two pushes now, or did it always? If I’m in drive and I try to put it in to reverse, it gets hung up in neutral and I have to then push again on the stick to get it to go into reverse. I seem to remember in the past that going from drive it would hesitate or hit like a bump in neutral and then go into reverse. Kind of a pain in the ass, but like I said, I’m not sure if he didn’t do it before and I’m just crazy?

At first, I thought it was because I wasn’t pressing the brake pedal hard enough. But that’s not it. It’s also not like I can push harder and it will go in reverse.

Anybody else notice this? I think it does it also the other way when you’re in reverse, it hangs up in neutral and then you have to tap it again to go to drive, but I’m not sure.

I back into my driveway every time and didn't notice a change in D to R... From memory it's just one slow/long push

This isn't right at all....... I'd probably get back into the dealership on that one.
