Land Rover feeling the Heat?

I thought the BMW engine meets that standards over there, do they not? Or does the laws limit sale in general? (I have no clue, real questions)
Simplified: it is the average emissions over the manufactures whole range that is measured. BMW like other big manufacturers make EVs and hybrids. IG are classified as a small manufacturer and are exempt from some regulations if limited to numbers sold

What the AI bit on emissions does not mention is the target by company. Some of these figures are so low that fines are inevitable, so much so that Suzuki stopped selling the car version of the Jimny and now only sells the van version. Their target was so low none of their existing range met it, so every car sale generates a fine. (Suzuki don't have an EV and most vehicles are now mild hybrids).

It's like we are told by government not to believe Google & AI searches because reading this stuff about how to destroy the manufacturing industries in EU and UK is unbelievable. Easier to dismiss as a deep fake than take it as true 🤯😱

As I understand, European manufacturers can buy credits from Chinese manufacturers as they are importing more electric cars than fuel powered. We are subsidising them to import electric cars. I'm sure that makes sense to someone 🤔
