Afternoon All

Early depositor who’s patiently waiting like the rest of you.

LR owner who waited a very long time for the DC100 …proper defender replacement .. that never materialised! Hoping the Grenadier will fill that gap. Have driven it at a test day off-road and suitably impressed.

Looking forward to chatting 👍

Means 100.000 times welcome in Irish Gaelic. Gaeilge an hEireann .. in Ireland in particular in the West / Dingle Island rather common... I can read it here and there, know a few terms to orient myself.. Most important Slán .. You will guess once you visit a pub there. Seans in Athlone.. always worth a visit. But do not take your IG to ride home..
Better grab a tacsai

Cheers for the welcome👍

Good question on the spec …. How do I get one of this fancy footers with the spec showing? Is there a field I’m missing to fill out?

Belstaff Trailmaster 😬

The fancy footers are "signatures", click on your name at top right, then in the dropdown menu click on 'signature'.

"Belstaff Trailmaster Edition + bells & whistles 🤩"
It should be TRIALmaster not TRAILmaster ;) although I like more the mistake you made as the right name for our car!

As someone not really familiar with "trialing" as sport in UK, I assumed it was "trail" which makes more sense without context.

Its an English term for optional extras and features, including many unnecessary ones.

If you buy a car with all the "bells and whistles", it means its fully loaded, every box ticked!

...generally speaking though, no actual "bells or whistles" will be found in said car

That is an English expression, means something like "a lot of nice and unnecessary additions" ;)
And what means WTF? :ROFLMAO:

[EDITED: @Spjnr was faster]

Or maybe his Trialmaster does actually have some bells and whistles attached, bit mental, but each to their own.

Just to clarify Bells & Whistles are not the same as Bings & Bongs that you get on a Land Rover …. I hope 🙏
Did someone say Land Rover warnings?
