Difference between a commercial and station wagon maybe 🤔
Yes, mines a commercial. @Jean Mercier's appears to be the same heavy duty (and thick) TPO floor matting used throughout the vehicle.

Just curious as to why the heavy duty flooring would be missing from the boot of the commercial version and replaced with a lightweight thin version?

Good stuff - on a small tangent your rear mat appears to have several differences to mine:

and you don't have the lower corner tie down rings.
I think the additional tie downs were extra. I’ve got them on mine but my liner is the same colour as Jean’s though. My vin is sub 700 so there may have been a spec change.

@Jean Mercier this ist not as "shitty" as you have announced it.

I won't win a design award and is of course improvable, but it fulfills all your prerequisites.

I'm sure you have set a starting point for some refined versions to be seen here in the future.

Good job, thanks vor sharing.(y)

+1.

It's got me thinking. I think I have an old Discovery roller cover somewhere. Might dig it out and see if it would serve a similar purpose with a pair of @Jean Mercier rear seat brackets.

When did you say these were going into production?

Right, but your liner has cutouts for the extra tie downs unlike Jean's?

Dug out that cover, and it seems like it would be a great fit. Just need to see if I can get something to retain the ends?

I already know which one i prefer !! Hopefully the extra anchor points are still under the plastics . Fingers crossed .
on this point , met my Grenadier yestrday . The additional tie downs that are present on the SW are present under the liner in the Belstaff . Boltrs present missing the actual d ring and base .

From which car did it come from originally? If it really fits well, perhaps I can find it somewhere 🤔
I also looked at IKEA self enrolling curtains, cheap, but slightly not wide enough: 140 cm is the maximum width

It's the 2nd version of the Discovery, something like this:

Just need to find some photos of the mounting points and see if I can get some.

Hopefully, with it being old enough, then there's a few choices from salvage yards, etc.

Pictures say more than words, but although I prefer to sleep in my tent, I found a solution to sleep in my car, without dismounting the rear seat.
I bought (for my tent) a Coleman Maxi Comfort inflatable bed, dimensions 198 x 82 x 22 cm, and this is perfect for the inside of the Grenadier!
The other thing I have are 4 "ratchet straps" and some luggage to fill some "holes".
The smaller passenger seat isn't clapped down, and serves as "side step" for the bed, therefore this solution is suitable for one person.
See the pictures. I didn't test it in real life yet.
