Beside development costs they need to keep things running, pay the salaries, suppliers, etc. I doubt that the Grenadier sales pay that. By doing so they circumvent the high interest charges after their credibility was ranked down, again.

The difference to shares, owning a bond makes you a creditor and the money must be payed back. You have to wait until 5,5 years until you get the money back and maybe some on top.
