Is Ineos in financial woes?

I think @Zimm is being pessimistic, the build a vehicle for utility and keep it going long past it's "best before" date path has already been well trodden by Rover, British Leyland, Austin Rover Group and JLR, called variously Land Rover 110/90/130, Defender 110/90/130 from roughly 1982 to 2016.

Ineos Automotive have 10 years of BMW engines contracted, so what happens in roughly 7 years time will be interesting.
Pessimistic is an understatement at best......

But again, the 4C was saddled with all of Alpha Romeo's other models and future models.
Fair point. But either way, the correct end user that owns the car AND understands the car wins. The right buyer will deal with hard to find service or parts etc and make it work, all the while loving what he has even though others don’t get it. I don’t have a Grenadier yet, but if it’s like the 4C, it’ll be just fine with me. As for long term outlook for the company, there are plenty of old obscure cars whose manufacturers folded long ago that enthusiasts find one way or another to keep going. Hopefully Ineos keeps moving forward, but if they don’t and you have one that’s been sorted, you’ll be just fine, if you’re the right person.

All this talk is giving me anxiety that INEOS is headed for choppy waters. And while it's only talk at this point, still... I wish INEOS nothing but the best so that they can continue to support my Quatermaster.

I agree. Lots of bullshit and speculation mixed with a few facts equals more bullshit which leads one to just wonder why the hell such crap is posted in first place. To inform - well, just state some facts and let it go at that. Some posts mention financial statements, cash flow, etc but do these posters have the necessary accounting or financial skills to understand such information? I doubt it. Some posts cast speculative ill comments about ones social life, that are tacky to say the least, and I am not sure why such shots are made. Jealousy? Probably. Oh well, it is the Internet where everyone is an expert.....and some are just assholes.

A bigger worry, moreso if you live in Europe, is Russia sending MIGs over Estonia.
Just enjoy your Grenadier.

Why do you seem angry?

Indeed. That's not a good thing. Here in the US, we have our own turbulence, albeit of a different kind.

I'll be enjoying my QM tomorrow as I drive deep into the woods to ride one of my motorcycles, yet further into the woods.

You are being overly sensitive and If you were paying attention to what was written you would not have asked that.
Youre right...I dont pay a whole lot of attention to what's online.
Dude, what am I oversensitive about?
You are the one who is angry.
Did someone say something not nice about the truck you saved all your nickels for?
Stop being so sensitive and move along.
Or Ill kick you in the vagina!

You obviously make assumptions and doing so makes an ASS out of U...

Beside development costs they need to keep things running, pay the salaries, suppliers, etc. I doubt that the Grenadier sales pay that. Maybe that's the reason why they are talking with Chery to produce Chery cars in Hambach, giving away space and personell. To spread the running costs, which can't be payed by Grenadier sales.

AWo
That was also covered in one of LC's podcasts. Not the specifics (no mention of Chery), but a reference to the Hambach site being very large and the option to rent some of it out.
