Just want to share that a Wrangler JK or JL rear door table works perfectly in the Grenadier.
Just a few new holes need to be drilled in the drop down table mount. The bolts and spacers that come in the kit work great. Even the right thread pitch and length.
No mods to the car door needed.
Amazon $88.00
Sturdy and still allows access to the tool panel.
Way cheaper that any other option I found

Any rattles while driving? Also, are the holes drilled into plastic or into the steel?

No rattles so far.
I added a couple pads between the two tables where they contact when folded using the soft side of Velcro
The entire thing is steel.
I removed the plastic factory door panel, laid it over the table frame as a template to tap the holes.
It will be obvious once you lay them over one another.

That’s a good find 👌🏼

£102.88 in the UK (GBP). I'll try that.
The spacers are threaded so I put the screws thru the holes I drilled using one washer then installed the white supplied plastic washer on the side the screw comes then the spacer. Thread the spacer tightly down and repeat for all the screws. This will hold all the screws exactly where you need them as long as you drilled correctly. (They will still spin to thread in).
Then thread them all in a little at a time moving from one screw another then back again to avoid binding.
It’s easy and will be clear once you have it in front of you.

It's on and done. I thought about taking pictures but they will look the same as @Krbrown68's, so there is little point.

A few hints and tips, from someone who has not done it as well as is possible:
  • The table will use the middle 4 top bolts holding the door trim on to the Grenadier door and the accessible corners on the table. Check before you drill the table.
  • Mark the new holes required carefully and secure the door trim to the back of the shelf with tape and use a centre punch, (not a nail - someone has nicked/borrowed my punch set). The better the set up the easier it is to put on.
  • There is some leeway when settling out, make sure you have enough ground for each new hole. The lower right one is close to an existing hole in the table back.
  • A 6mm hole is enough for the bolts.
  • To fit it without buying any new hardware, you steal the bolts from the JL set up and the spacers from the JK set up, (the long silver bolts and the short black spacers).
  • Tighten them up evenly and be gentle, the bolts are not the best quality.
I am really pleased with the finished result and it would be easy to put the truck back to standard. For the money it is absolutely brilliant.
