Images of small rear door -behind the plastic panel

Check out this air compressor solution. Pretty clean install using a TJM compressor installed in the inner fender.

I installed 2 arb compressors 4 weeks ago ( they are waterproof ) with a bash plate under the vehicle, did not drill any holes in the vehicle at all, my underbonet switch and outlet use the same fender type brackets, but on the other side, I almost thought they copied me, but of course it is the obvious way to do it.
The air intake and outlets are under the bonnet, i did the same arangement with my discovery 2 on Christmas 2007, but with 1 ARB compressor and it was still working in 2022 when I sold the vehicle.
I posted a few pictures in the steps added to rock sliders post.
You have to use 2 single compressors, and not their twin as the fan for cooling will fail with prolonged water and dust ingress.

Related but unrelated-does anyone use the rear small door for storage of some sort? I’m looking for any ideas that are out there but haven’t found anything thus far.

Only using Molle panels at window level on 1/3 and 2/3 doors. Soft items only.

The KAON product does use the lower part of the door on the 2/3 door with the Table option.

The video is a great guide to KAON options, for the rear shelf, cargo Molle storage crates (rear side windows) and the rear door windows.

With matching soft storage bags or the rear shelf, cargo Molle storage crates (rear side windows) and the rear door windows.

Just saw this:

Nice, but pricey. Two versions, one with pockets the other with Molle straps.

On the door not inside the door. Options for both 1/3 and 2/3 doors.

I have been thinking of that too, for instance putting one liter of engine oil or anything not needed too often

Not right now. I posted one in the what did you do thread from memory, last summer. Anyway the fluids fit in there snugly.
Please also tell us the container sizes, so we ensure they fit. It is easier to be a copy cat. :D

1L oil, 500ml brake fluid , 1L PS fluid ; all ex Repco.
I'll double check after work but I'll need to remove all those bolts!
Actually I had put in 1L oil, 500ml brake fluid and a bottle of radiator stopleak. Not that I would rely on the latter, probably more to help out someone else.
I had intended and now will put 500ml power steering fluid in that space instead.

Would be nice if an aftermarket supplier takes care of this. A sheet metal panel with a small door. Maybe a mesh pocket on the outside. Easy.
Easy DIY , but in all honesty it's 1 minute to remove the bolts. Assuming you carry a drill :)

Just stumbled across this thread. Would it be possible to fit in an air compressor there?
