yea, oddly, the styling turned out to be too soon. You know, I recently had a thought - I could buy one just for the fun of plastering a giant sticker on the back:
"No longer the world's ugliest vehicle".

I loved mine but I'm not sure I'd want a modern one. (Sold in 1998, when son was imminent).
Little known fact - the GT body was made in France. Yes, I drive them both...
That is definitely a " marmite " car. My first reaction to your comment, " what more does a young boy need"? I was going to say their head examining, but now the more I look at it, I think yes I want one.Ineos should team up with a French leather atelier and release an updated version of the Velorex Oskar. Three wheels, leather bodywork, what more does a young boy need?

Selling when your son was imminent, was a bit premature, you had at least 17 years before he got to wreck itI loved mine but I'm not sure I'd want a modern one. (Sold in 1998, when son was imminent).

I had no idea how tiny OGTs were. It looks like a kids motorized toy next to the Grenadier. Looks great nonetheless.Little known fact - the GT body was made in France. Yes, I drive them both...
At the time I owned the Morgan and the Opel GT, my wife had a Peugeot 106 Rallye - none of those cars would work for a new baby and "stuff".Selling when your son was imminent, was a bit premature, you had at least 17 years before he got to wreck it![]()
Have you asked for a DNA test, or just put him up for adoptionAt the time I owned the Morgan and the Opel GT, my wife had a Peugeot 106 Rallye - none of those cars would work for a new baby and "stuff".
Advice from everyone we knew was buy the biggest car you can afford, so as our local Vauxhall dealer wanted the Opel, I ended up with a new Vauxhall Vectra Estate, (new in 1998, sold back to the dealer in March 2005 after the ABS unit had a fit).
Son, now 26, still has not learnt to drive.
It seems most teens dream is to summon their driverless blob, climb in, and arrive at their destination without ever looking up from their screen. I find that sad. Most now can't even find the way home without Siri guiding them.Generation whatever they are a pretty apathetic group and a good handful of my students have no desire to drive.
