High pitch sound when towing

When towing you get higher boost pressure at lower revs because the engine is working harder, you’ll hear more whistle at lower revs because the engine is quieter.

I've had a similar noise coming from the front of the transmission for more or less the first couple of weeks. It sounds like a faulty bearing. At first it only occurred when I was driving up a steep hill. Now it also occurs sporadically on flat roads. As soon as the automatic transmission shifts up into 6th gear the noise disappears. It also varies in volume. Sometimes it's very quiet in the background, sometimes it's very loud. I've tried everything but can't locate it. A camera underneath the vehicle didn't produce any results either. The dealer keeps putting me off. Unfortunately there isn't a hill in the dealership area steep enough to cause the noise

Sounds like Bowden cable rubbing against prop shaft. Look under car just above the prop shaft towards the front to see if it’s touching. It should be wrapped in aluminium conduit. Solution zip tie it back up because the original fixing is rubbish.

The drive shaft rotates completely freely. There's nothing dragging. I also checked this with a camera while driving.

There's a YouTube video from Australia

in which, among other things, an Ineos Grenadier climbs a steep hill and suddenly stops (at 10:40) because the driver heard an unusual noise coming from the front. An inquiry to Ineos revealed that it could be the steering damper that could be causing this noise. The noise can be heard again at 12:19 and 12:35 in the video.
In fact, if you hit the steering damper or the drive shaft with a screwdriver, for example, it creates a bell-like ringing noise. I eliminated these noises by installing damping material on my vehicle. However, they were not the noises I initially described.
