Of course he had the unicorn Grenadier, the one equipped with portal axles!

Super cool machine. And I'm really glad he joined a regular group out on the trail on a Sunday!

A video @ColoradoMike took of me going down a fairly steep section of slick rock.

This is an intermediate trail mostly characterized by it's steep climbs and descents. Our trail leader was Andreas and Tom father and son who in their day life own RRE. True off-road enthusiast. They asked the group if we wanted normal trail or the easy bypass on the more difficult sections. I asked for "extra spicy" and we had a good time out there, deliberately picking the most complicated lines.. I only once had to chicken out, the drop was 3 feet and I was pretty sure it would pull my rear bumper off.

This was a line I picked on a decently steep hill. Full brake and still skidding somewhat. Check out the video attached thanks to @ColoradoMike

I hit 37 degrees at one point going down and up wipeout hill. Fun! I have a video but it's too big to be uploaded.

Grenadier climbed it like a goat! Mike is smooth up that hill!

It's so much steeper in real life vs what the video suggests. On the upper part of the hill all you see is sky and you need to steer to the left as your front wheel get over the top because there is a nasty rock to the right, but not too much to the left or you'll get into another rock on the left pushing you over 40 degrees.

And here is one of me climbing a ledge on an incline. Let off the momentum on the first and second try so had to reassess and gain a bit more momentum on the second try.

First gear is your friend on these obstacles.

If you listen you can hear my front skid plate make a little kiss with the rock.

I guess he means the "new" Defender, because the Old Defender is his father
You can notice that he lost a reflector of the rear bumper. If he is a forum member, I have a spare for him.

After my last trip off road I just noticed I have lost a rear reflector as well. Do you know where I can get a replacement?
