Fusilier (INEOS collaborates with Chery Automobile in China)

Agree, but Rivian has a strong following
But not yet in the UK as far as I know….

I had a hybrid option on the XC90 (2018) but it wasn’t economic for me at the time, still working at that point  Didn’t realise that retirement would become a viable option just 6 months later ;)

By the time Fusilier shows in flesh, the U.S. will have changed the course by close to 180 degrees.
I think we have to accept that the US tase for vehicles is different to many other countries.
Not good or bad, just different.
The Fuselier doesn't seem to be the type of vehicle that would get much interest in the US.
For that matter nor in Australia.
We have a huge range of cheap small SUV's for the people who want that type of vehicle.

I am not sure about that. I'd try to buy one as a daily driver. My guess is many Grenadier owners would rather have an electric runabout than put commuter miles on their "proper" 4x4s.

Yes I agree that if anyone it would be a Grenadier owner who also wanted a baby Grenadier.
So a percentage of the 10,000 a year Grenadier buyers in the US might buy them.

Sadly though if made in Europe they would attract somewhere between 25 and 1572% tariff.
If made in China not allowed at all in the US and not really of interest to Australia.

Maybe if Magna Canada could make them, then they would only attract 25%??? tariff.
As Canada make lots of the Elon batteries maybe they could use those now, as there seems to be a lot of free capacity.

It could be a win allround.
