Larger spare tire solution for QM?

Here’s our temporary/permanent solution until better solution comes to market or when alu-cab has fit kit for QM. Wife is happy..

Not sure if helpful, but I was able to secure a 35'' spare tire by removing the factory bracket & bolting thru the rim. See picture for reference.

A popular solution is an in-bed spare tire mount from a company like J&L or BuiltRight. They bolt directly into the bed, keeping the tire secure and out of the way. Another option is an under-bed hitch mount from Rigd, which tucks it neatly underneath if it fits. Just strapping it down works, but these keep your bed space more usable.

Links to what you’re talking about from rigd, J&L and Builtright. I must be an absolute fools because I cannot find anything you mention for a QM.

I read under bed hitch mount that tucked it underneath in the prior post. I knew Rigd did what you showed above, and it not only blocks the rear light… it blocks the camera and a portion of the plate. An absolutely terrible solution in my opinion.

Yes I saw it being designed in their workshop. They keep brainstorming and improving over prototypes. I’d wait for the next iteration to see how they overcome the obvious issues.
