Hello all! First post! USA here and have owned my Scottish white trialmaster for about a month now. I seem to remember the manual specifying that the head unit supported FLAC for the USB audio device, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the music to show up or be playable.

Is there a specific folder structure that is required for the music to be recognized?

In my testing the other year .flac format files were playable and artwork recognised. Thumb drives need to be formatted as either fat32 or ntfs. Size should be <32gb.

It will be slow to load if there are a lot of files as well.

I have almost 10k songs but have had it plugged in for multiple 2-3 hours drives. I'll check the formatting next, as I doubt it's ntfs as I have a Mac. Most likely exfat.

There's also some scattered mp3s there that aren't showing as well, so odds are being the formatting now that you mention.

May also just drop 1-2 songs on there first to test before wasting time transferring 10k.

Thanks rok_dr, away from the car for now but will report back when I can test with the results 🍻
