First view of my flat tray and half box

Jay updated the springs to Eibach HD 500. He took it around to see how it all works. Tomorrow it gets weighed and the last bit is the skid plate/underbelly tire holder. My guess is the tray, half box, rear winch, 2 renogy slim state battery, control hub and redarc 40DC to DC, empty 19 gallon stainless steel water tank and to side boxes: 632. Original weigh in was 6300. Toss your numbers below. View attachment 7924089View attachment 7924090View attachment 7924091View attachment 7924092

I know you asked AF dude in a different thread about springs. After reading you wanted the back end to sit about a inch higher, you might want to think about the Eibach HD 500. Working with Jay at DB, we hashed out that 500 would work for my set up because it starts at 2.4 inch lift but once you put 500lbs on it, it settles in at 1.4. You lose .2 inches for each 100 pounds you add. 1000 might be to much and give a stiffer rear ride even with 500lb sitting on the springs.

Here is a video of my tray completed and walk around. What is not mentioned is the tray is 6 feet by 6 feet 2 inches. Also the color of my truck will match the box, once I strip the old wax off of it. Looking to fly out this week and picking it up.

I was sorta thinking the same about the 1,000lb coils. They might be too stiff when not totally loaded for a trip. I need to contact a vendor about the Eibach HD 500's. I've read other posts and some seem to think they ride too soft for an Overland setup?
The video Jay put together was great. You've got a nice build there. Personally I like my QM better than I liked the Wagon. As Jay said in the video, the rear overhang really does limit the departure angle and if anyone buying one plans on really wheeling the truck rear end damage of some kind is inevitable. Mine has some minor damage,
