Here you go folks, the process has begun. Jay Couch has called me each day to provide an update and provide what they are looking to accomplish on the given day.
Yesterday was weigh day and beginning to disassemble. Starting weight was 6300, his goal is to keep it just a few hundred pounds over 6300. The bed is extruded aluminum which is different than what he did on V1 which was a flat piece of aluminum with two channels. Now channels all the way around. Sub frame testing today too. Want to make sure everything lines up before assembly.
I had him paint the half box to match my Scottish white. I mentioned the drop down panel need to be painted but now seeing half box only painted, part of me is keep as is. Tell me what you think?
