So what are we all drinking while we wait? I'm still savoring the Glendronach 25 year old I filled at the distillery as well as this Hakushu 18.

- Jamesons for everyday when I am feeling skint
- Glenmorangie 12 for everyday when I am feeling flush
For a bit more special
- Limeburners Solera cask
- Lark Classic
- Dalmore Cigar Malt
- Dalwhinnie 15
- Aberlour A’bunadh

I must admit I'm partial to Irish whiskey generally, and very much like the Jameson Stout Cask as my day to day drink of choice.
I'm firmly in the Highland's camp with Dalwhinnie my pick.
I have been drinking a bit of Japanese whisky recently, my son bought me a bottle of Nikka Taketsuru recently and I like it a lot.

My spirit of choice though is normally Caribbean rum. I'm always on the hunt for something I haven't had before.

That said, I'm a wine guy. That journey just gets better and better the more I learn.

I was about to type Dalgliesh, until I spotted the absence of an "a" in the thread title.
Sadly , as an abstainer I cannot contribute here 🫠

I felt obliged to post from the UK as we were badly under represented!
The 15 year Bowmore is my current regular/ daily now that I have sadly finished a very nice Sherry finish Mcallan.
Now that I have the Grenadier a trip up to Scotland this autumn to replenish the stock is planned!

Just made myself a Long Island Iced Tea. That be 5 drams, assuming a dram is 30 ml.
Just googled a dram, seems it can be from 1/16 of an oz, to an oz or more.

I like Isla malts but have quite a wide taste IMG_8304.png
