As I mentioned in another thread, I have bought an HVAC system from a 2023 Grenadier. The reason I did this was to make videos about it...yes, really.
Hopefully these videos will be helpful to someone, possibly even me.
The first one is here:
I'd like this to develop into a deatiled discussion about how the system works, so let me know what else you would like to see.

Unfortunately I do not have the wiring harness for this, so I don't know where all the ground points are. I suspect only one is needed given the limited amount of electronics on the unit.
There is an electrical schematic document in the resources section of the forum that may help with the earth point locaitons

Cheers

What did that unit cost you? I’d gladly toss a few bucks your way to help cover it. Great job taking the initiative.

Really great info from this vid. I've also been suffering from AC issues, (no cooling in intermittent cases, intense heated air from rear vents with outside temp air from face vents, plus lots of leaking condensation in passenger footwell).

Doing some investigation into those actuators, looks like they might be a MAHLE (might be a resupply from another manufacturer) part used in Audis, and probably many other makes.

Thank you very much, that is very generous, but actually the unit only cost me just under 90GBP delivered, so I could not resist! Goodness knows how much a new and complete unit would cost from Ineos, but I suspect ten times that amount, if not more. Depending on the state of my unit I may be able to re-use some of the actuators, assuming they are all working. My worry is that the issues may be control related, and that's a very different story...

Thanks for posting this! I was told by my workshop (Hedin in Danderyd, Sweden) that the electric heater is on all cars but that it is only active when the system is in the "auto" setting (until the coolant reaches the right temperature).

Is anyone else experiencing cold air entering the passenger footwell via the recirculation duct? If so, have Ineos been able to fix it?

These may be of some interest.

I have been meaning to dig into this issue and see whether a simple reccontrol of the lin actuators might improve things but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Interesting to see the col air bypass gap though, might start to explain how you can get cold from one vent and hot from another.
