I'm in the process of getting my Grenny registered and on the road. One thing that the inspectors need is the engine number, I had a look in the manual, but their diagram and description hasn't helped me locate it. Can anyone point me in the right direction (I have the diesel model btw)

Thanks :)

It is very hard to find on a diesel model, I spoke with my dealer and you need a stethoscope camera to find it.

Is it on your rego papers? Or ask your dealer as I think it is on the INEOS system somewhere.

Otherwise a mechanic with experience in finding the number on B57 motor.

Dumb questions: Are you just registering it from another State? Why is the dealer not doing this if the car is new?

Good luck finding it, if this location is correct its buried deep down the back right of the engine bay under a maze of pipes.

When I bought the car, I received a separate invoice from INEOS for the tax office. It included the VIN number and engine number.
I once tried to find this number on the vehicle with an endoscope, but ultimately gave up because it was so hidden.
