I have a child and one of my worst nightmare is if she spills liquid and it splashes into all the electronics under the rear bench. It's kind of bizarre there isn't any type of protection. Is this a worry for anyone?

No, I am not worried about your child spilling water.

On a serious note you could possibly scribe out a piece of foam and stick down some plastic sheet on the top of it to help disperse any fluids. Would need to keep an eye on ventilation perhaps.

My friends owns a high end detail shop. We only allow water in the car. Nothing with sugar or milk especially.

Seat covers on everything.

Short trips, day to day this has been no issue. Longer trips, sippy cups and making sure things are in cupholders.

Our neighbors spent $2800 replacing a Yukon Denali seat when they spilled a tray of hot chocolate on it. No thanks.

Maybe encase everything under the seat in 25-30 gallons of jello to protect the electrics?
