I placed 6mm clear spiral tubing around all the wires on the throttle controller today and I will install tomorrow (I hope). Those earlier pictures were from the test run in working out how to remove the accelerator assembly late one night.

I like two protective layers around wires, to stop wear through the insulation and then shorts. I had a short in the Patrol once when the split tubing fell off a wire, then the wire shorted on the chassis - causing a fuse to blow multiple times when traveling from the west coast to east coast of Australia. The whole dash went down 6 or 7 times. It did not take long for the 4WD to find the short after I told them of all the symptoms (plenty of time to work them out when coming back - over 5,000 kms), but I could not find it on the road.
