EFM battery, charge profile?

My solar charger has three battery options. Gel, AGM and lithium.
Which of these profiles is the best choice for the EFM battery the car comes with?
 
None. AFM is a normal wet lead battery just with a labyrinth to prevent water loss.

Maybe AGM as this is alao a wet type just with a matt.

What do I need to consider if I want to install a LiFePO4 battery as a starter battery? Do I need to tell the car (control unit) which battery is installed?

Another question would be, what impact does that have on the " smart " alternator?

I'd suggest you do some research on high amperage draw from LiFeP04 vs lead acid batteries. The iron phosphate Lithium batteries aren't at this stage, designed for long-term reliable starter battery application...
