Hello ,

This warning came on yesterday when the misses was driving the car , she turned it off and it cleared but it's back again this morning .

I'm assuming I will just need to phone the road side assistance

The electronic stability platform is off.
You can still drive it, but yes call the roadside assistance under warranty.

Another thing to check. Look at the rear passenger side, radius arm. The ABS wire may rub against the radius arm inner bolt. Best to zip tie it up. The insulation on my ABS wire was cracked, saved just it in time.

Shiitake has been doing this for months and had one attempt at solving but it returned shortly after. Sadly now I have permanent windscreen wipers on at the same time! Had to pull the fuse to drive into town.
I’ve checked my cages for stones but will also look at the ABS wires too - thanks for the suggestion 👍🏼
I’m considering doing a complete shutdown and restart to see if that might shake the problem? 🤷🏼‍♂️
Anyone else driving a Grenadier that expects constant rain? 🤣

Edit…
Sorry forgot to mention that after a chat with our actual Ineos Tech, he advised that the reduced brake performance is restricted to ABS so the brake system is still functioning but not 100% optimally! Nice for drivers to know this 👍🏼

Wipers not turning off is often a failed ECU in the dash - contact the dealer.

@Karearea I'd lay down fifty dollarbucks that your steering wheel control module has failed. The giveaway is the uncontrolled wipers. Not common but a few reports of failure on early VINs, including mine.

Thanks for this - I will investigate if possible. Otherwise I’ll let the dealer know along with a few other things 👍🏼

At the time I sent this in an email to my service manager. I also sent him several links to the same fault reported on here, just to say it's not a new issue and it's been fixed before.
There seemed to be a run of these in mid 2023 then it went quiet so I'm hopeful it was a batch issue that was addressed in later VINs.

It might be as simple as some mud blocking a wheel speed sensor or a low battery.

@scottyboy436 Like @landmannnn said, it might be some debris which is creating a bad speed signal. You could try pouring/spraying some warm mild soapy water through the slots in the slotted cover over each phonic wheel (a.k.a speed rings, sensor rings, toothed wheels). They are tucked in at the end of the axle behind each road wheel. Soap up, wait a few minutes then gently rinse them out using your hose pipe (that's a garden hose for the rest of us). It's worth a shot before getting your agent/dealer involved.

If any of the radial slots in a phonic wheel are blocked or damaged the signal waveform generated by the rotating wheel is incorrect and the system produces an error. Example waveforms shown.

I had similar over a year ago. It was there for a few days before disappearing and to date, not coming back. 🤷‍♂️

Phoned the road side assistance , there sending out the AA later today. So will see how long it takes to get repaired

I would try this but I'm offshore working at the moment so phoning the roadside is the best thing really

The guy came out and reset the battery and said to try that , misses took it out and it was back on withing a few mins
