So this is only a bench crack for the DME nothing to do with the ineos side. Still stuck

You can watch the value "Normalized trigger for DPF regen", e.g. with OBDlink. It tells you approximately how close you are to a regen cycle start (see here).1. MONITORING. Display the realtime DPF soot loading value on an OBDII monitor such as Codebreaker or an app like Torque Pro. For this to be useful we would need to know the baseline value for regeneration. For example, if regeneration occurs at 50% and the current soot load is 30% there is 20% remaining until the next cycle. A toggle between current soot level and % remaining to next regen would be a nice feature.
Thank you. I messed around with a dongle and the Torque app but grew tired of the errors if the dongle was detected at startup. You can watch the value "Normalized trigger for DPF regen", e.g. with OBDlink. It tells you approximately how close you are to a regen cycle start (see here).
Yep, Ford got it right.Thank you. I messed around with a dongle and the Torque app but grew tired of the errors if the dongle was detected at startup.
Ford has listened to what the customer wants in the new Ranger Super Duty.
In direct response to customer feedback, the ability to delay diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration cycle temporarily in certain circumstances has also been added to benefit customers operating in high fire-risk environments.
Controlled through the 12-inch SYNC infotainment screen, this also introduces the ability to manually initiate a DPF regeneration cycle. The auto stop-start function has also been removed.
Agreed. IA are not in control of engineering for the engines at a low level. Even if they wanted to do something like this they're reliant on BMW to agree to support it without voiding the warranty, meaning IA would need to take on all liability, then make the coding changes in the DDE for IA. IA then need someone else to add the interface code in the head unit.Yep, Ford got it right.
It helps when the design and development was done in Australia, with help from the US Super Duty team.
A DPF burn-off in spinifex could be catastrophic for the car.
