You can’t be serious, the ongoing electrical problems caused by corrosion in all the plugs , components and computers would be an absolute nightmarelt would be a bargain for someone who could strip and rebuild the engine themselves.

Not sure if it was actually flooded to that extent. Was it not water entering the air intake, due to water flow on that side of the vehicle? I Don’t think the vehicle was ever actually submerged. Interesting comment on warranty work. If it was only a Cat N write off then the DVLA aren't usually notified, so it would be down to an Ineos dealer, at a later date warranty request, picking up the rebuild situation.It did not flood past the bottom of the doors, the interior was dry before and after and the dash came back up with a charged battery connected. The engine sounds rough in the video the salvage company posted, so I'm grateful it is not my problem.
My guess is a rebuilt or 2nd hand engine will solve most of the issues, but water in the wires can become an issue later on. I can imagine that getting warranty service from Ineos Automotive might be a real problem.
