Do Ozzy’s say “shrimp on the barby”?

Brilliant. I have been twice before and been all over South Island. I swam with Hector’s Dolphins at Curio bay, down south. Just walked into the big surf from the beach and swam with them. Also want to a fantastic beer festival in Oamaru, on New Zealand's South Island, also known as the steampunk capital of the world. Got very drunk there and met a lovely fella who is one the last penny farthing cycle makers in the world. (He makes them for film sets). A really interesting guy, he persuaded me try a penny farthing with a very big hangover, amazingly I didn’t fall off. If I had my time again I would relocate to New Zealand.
I am soon doing exactly that. Woohoo.

While on a landscape photography course in NZ, the group had dinner at Oamura. At the pub I got the nickname of The SausageMan (TM), from the waitress because I ordered Bangers and mash (which they called sausages and mash). The others started to use the name for the remainder of the course. So I embraced the nickname.

The pub was close to the Steam Punk Museum.

Here is the story:

They even composed a song for me

After the course I hired a campervan for 6 weeks. The SausageMan even found the sausage capital of NZ:

Brilliant that’s hilarious 🤣. Oamura is a great town and the steam punk theme is fun.
Well done Sausage man.

Correction, The SausageMan (TM).

Did you see the The SausageMan pose in the first link?

I just reread the first link. I had forgotten how carried away we got. A reminder of how a blog can bring back some great memories.

@Logsplitter you can become a SM groupie and we can call you a Weener. :ROFLMAO:
