Dealer changes Australia?

Always up for a FNQ road trip.
God’s Country.
Except for between October and March, when I’d prefer to be anywhere else. Not a fan of humidity like that. 😬
October to March is the best time of the year up here. There's a lot less motorhomes and caravans around and there are good locals deals for popular destinations. The only real worry are the big spinny winds from the ocean.

Ineos could very well be dropping the dealers, but it seems they're dropping more then they're establishing.
It probably flows both ways, but as the customer it does not matter who pulled the trigger first. I just want Ineos to keep me updated with what’s going down and to give me some assurance they are all over the situation like a rash and are sorting out a solution. I feel a bit like Jules on the phone to Marcellus Wallace, all I want to hear is the Wolf is on the way to sort things out.

Didn’t Justin mention a while ago they accept the agent model didn’t do what they needed for both parties, that they were moving to dealer models, and there would be some shuffling of the decks as a result?
Fair enough, but the Ineos marketing pigeon is as bad as Rugby Australia’s in communication to its customers about the changes. Hence the 400 posts on facebook groups and tales of Ineos demise. I’m no marketer, but even I could come up with a plan to avoid the fear mongers.

We lived in Cairns for almost 3 years in the late 90’s. I well remember getting out of the shower, and being just as wet after toweling down as I was just getting out. You can stick your humidity where the sun never shines. 😬😂😂😂

Looks like our first NQ cyclone is on its way.

Looks like you missed that one, I’m sure another will come along sometime soon.

I was in Vietnam a couple of months ago. I think the poor buggers up there had something like 17 go through in 2025.

Some say climate change. Those in the know call it the wet season. 😉

Fizzed out before it even started. Call that a cyclone…. 😂
Glad it fizzed out, trying to get good tradies in the area to fix the damage causes more stress than the cyclones. This one lasted long enough and had enough rain south of the eye to find every dodgy fence in the area and cause some decent flash flooding.

From posts in Facebook it looks like the new Perth Dealership agreement with EuroKars fell over at the last moment. Apparently there will be another announcement soon regarding a replacement.

Looked up EuroKars. In Australia, they sell Mazda, Kia, Subaru, Mitsubishi and Ford.
How very Euro of them 😄

Seen some chatter on Fb forums that Eurekars are not going to continue being a dealer come February.. Any truth in this does anyone know???

Yes confirmed. Apparently we’ll find out the new arrangements in a week or so.

I anticipate the new arrangement will be no deal and no new dealer. Canberra has been waiting for the 'almost signed up' deal for more than 18 months after the 4x4 Garage fell over.

The Ineos website has been updated and says the old Brighton site is now service only with no sales option in Melbourne. Interestingly three very new looking Grenadiers that represent the current range popped up overnight at Zagame Cupra Brighton, wonder if they are just clearing these on behalf of someone else or they are taking on the full dealership? Would be great if they did take it on as they have deep, deep pockets. Their service prices might be a bit painful, they also handle some very exotic brands (inc Lamborghini, Pagani and Gordon Murray Automotive). Apologies in advance for the really crappy photo taken while driving.

Is the Zagame Cupra Brighton business owned by any chance by the former Brighton Ineos shop front?

No, very different owners. Zagame is a very successful automotive group that focus on premium and ultra premium vehicles. They have the Victorian exclusive rights to brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, McLaren, Rolls Royce, Singer and others. They also have multiple Audi dealerships and Cupra. They have a reasonable presence in Adelaide so maybe they could take on service and sales for SA?
One of the three Grenadiers in the picture is a Black Edition wagon so they are very new vehicles.
